American Honey asked:

Type of Laser Hair Removal is best for upper lip?
Hi everybody, I am from FL and I am 18 years old. I need your guide .I have some fuzz on my upper lip that I want to get rid of permanently for quite a while now. I was looking into laser hair removals. I do not want to spend money that i barely have on something that i would regret for the rest of my life. I was wondering if you could help me to find a trustworthy and licensed doctors to do that procedure and talk to about it. I heard that Yag is pretty good laser hair removal which works for all skin types. Any advise with what laser should i go. My skin type White sometimes burns, always tans, hair are brown not to dark. I am not necessarily looking for a cheap, I better be off paying a bit more for better results. Also how many appointments will i need to get rid of all the hair on my lip. I heard that 6 Treatment Package will coast me about $ 250? Is it worth it? Will it really last forever? Because i can’t afford for bunch of appointments. I am just a student. It is really important to me.I just want to get rid of it.
I really need advise, as specially from personal experience. Please? I’d really appreciate your help! Thanks a lot to all!

Zoe asked:

I’m really not looking for an excuse to take time off of school. Not at all. I’m trying to do the most responsible thing here, and normally, the most responsible thing to do would be, clearly, keep going to school. But I’m at a point where I have to admit that my anxiety problems have escalated from being a mere annoyance to something that is truly distracting and disabling, and over the course of the last year (two semesters) has really decimated my grades. And it seems only to be getting worse. I guess what I’m asking, mainly, is for people who have been treated or are going through treatment for anxiety problems, does it benefit you to take time off to get things together during treatment/therapy, or does it make no difference than if you just went on with your normal routine along with whatever treatment plan is recommended?

I really hate to take a semester off of school, especially when I’m this close to finishing my associates’ degree. But at the same time, if I can’t perform in the classes in my present state, I don’t see the point until I can get better.

I have to make this decision relatively quickly, classes begin again in about a month and I have to decide whether to sign up for new ones within 2-3 weeks. I mean, if I were to begin therapy and get on medication in the beginning of January, could I really see a significant improvement in that amount of time?

Every time I would ask myself this I would always just try to drive myself harder, and, in the end, I burned out, I can no longer deny that I have a problem. And, I want to get better, I have to get better, and I just don’t know what the best move is at this point.

I have a little scar to the side of my right eye, it’s not bad, and you can’t notice it unless you are like a foot away from me. It’s like a slight acid burn on the skin between my eye and my nose.
My mother had told me it was from this medicine that they give babies/young kids, that doesn’t harm eye tissue, but if the nurses miss, it can burn skin. She doesn’t remember the name of it though, and I couldn’t find out anymore about it or the name of the medicine when i searched online.
Does anyone else have this or know about this or what medicine it was?
I was born in 1980, so they might not do this treatment anymore. Just curious on this.

I’m just about 20 weeks pregnant, and have noticed some whitish bumps near my vagina. I had an abnormal pap smear at 9 weeks and they were not overly concerned as it was mildly abnormal and should clear up after the birth. I am worried now that it was possibly HPV and that these bumps may be genital warts. I’ve never had anything like this before, but I read online that pregnancy can sometimes cause an outbreak due to a suppressed immune system. They don’t burn or hurt or itch, and I do have an appointment coming up with my OB but not until next week. Until then, I’m driving myself crazy with worry and reading the websites. I definately do NOT want a C-section unless it’s absolutely necessary, but it’s now sounding like that’s my only option if these are in fact genital warts. Is there anyone out there that’s had a similar experience, or gave birth after having an outbreak? Should I seek treatment or what?
It was a mildly abnormal pap, I actually work in the medical field so believe me I’m on top of it. I had low grade squamous cell intraepithelial lesions. In lamens terms, abnormal cells possibly caused by an HPV infection. They don’t treat for it until after the birth so they don’t compromise the cervix and because it generally goes away after the birth.
I’ve called my OB’s office and explained the situation and am waiting for a response as to whether they think I need to be seen or not. Thanks for the reassurance. I understand yahoo answers isn’t for diagnosis, but it calms my nerves a little to hear similar experiences while I wait on the doctor’s decisions.

? B Grand Blue ? asked:

Is $81 for a Chiropractic appointmet a really good deal?
It includes the office call fee, the chiropractic exam and treatment.

I’ll explain a little. :)
Not too long ago, R&J Arena in Verndale, MN burned down (during a team sorting event, with approx. 40 horses inside). There is an online auction with donated items and the money goes to the owners of the arena so they can rebuild it. This Chiropractic appointment was donated by the vet clinic.

I’ve always wanted to have a chiro. appointment for my horse but I don’t know much about it. Any ’success stories’ or info you can give me would be great.

Thanks.
Thanks everyone! :)

The vet/chiropractor that would be doing this has a great reputation, so I’m not worried. I’ll still ask questions though.

I haven’t actually bid on this yet, still thinking about it. Over the last couple months my horse has been ‘off’ and a little sore. I usually give him a week off and then get back into riding slowly and he’s usually fine. My farrier thinks his feet are in great condition and we all (me, farrier and trainer) think it’s something else.

So yeah. Plus this is for a good cause. :)

And thanks (about the barn fire) – it was really hard for everyone. It’s the best arena around for one, and the death of 45 or so amazing team penning horses is unheard of, around here especially. I’m not sure what caused the fire, but I think they know.
