burn treatment
Sarah N asked:

HI! On friday I burnt my leg with a clothing iron. It didn’t hurt, and I was shocked to see hours later that it had blistered over. I thought nothing of it until it accidentally popped and drained a really gross clear fluid. The next morning, my leg was hurting, and I looked and it was beginning to get red around the burn. So I put some antibiotic cream on it, and now two days later, the redness around it has gotten a lot worse, and everything hurts my leg. Showering, walking, my pants, the bed covers. The burn itself is about four inches long and about two inches wide, and now with the redness around it, it’s about 6 inches wide and about 6 inches long…I really don’t want to go to the doctor unless Im about to die, is there any treatment that I can try and when should I know that I definantely need to go to have it checked out!

Kallie
