Can some one tell me treatment for Heart burn which I have for many years.

I previously taking Tab. Ranitidine, then Stoped taking regularly as it gives temporary relief.

now a days I am taking tab.Pantaprozole 40mg (proton pump inhibitor) and one tab.Ranitidine once a week that gives relief to me for a week or 5 days.

is therre any medicine or food control that will heal this problem

any therapy available. if I dont take medicine I couldn’t tolerate the burning which is very hard to describe..

some one advice please

   Why don’t you try carafate tab (sucralfate) I find it very effective with heart burn and if you have gastric ulcer it will help it to heal. Avoid eating/drinking acidic food, soda.
