I had my first BHA peel last month (30%), which had little affect on my skin, so my dermatologist decided to up the concentration to 60% this week. I am trying to fade some freckling photodamage that I obtained on my nose and cheeks (not a burn) while hiking last year. I have been reading online that not only are several treatments needed (I knew this), but that the results are only temporary. I use sunscreen religiously. Will my sun freckles reappear once I stop my series of treatments? Also, should I get the treatments every two weeks or monthly for best results? Thanks!!

I was in a monogamous relationship for nearly 8 years, until Sept. of this year. Since then, I’ve been having protected sex with a “new” partner. On Nov. 5, my partner and I had sort of rough sex which I bled a little after. And ever since then, I’ve been experiencing a lot of vaginal dryness which has now turned into swelling and itching and burning. I tried treating it with OTC yeast infection treatments, and even tried using diaper ointment, but nothing is relieving the pain. Instead of getting any better, it seems to be getting worse. I have done a self “inspection” and there’s no visible cuts, sores, spots or anything abnormal….any ideas or suggestions on how to relieve the symptoms until next week or ideas about what’s causing it????

Oh, and before anyone asks, no I haven’t had sex since then. Maybe TMI, but we tried once about a week ago, but he barely made it past penetration before it hurt too badly and we stopped….
And I’m still keeping the appointment on Wed. next week, but I’m looking for some symptom relief until then, it’s really unbearable. At some points it’s like a 5-6 on a pain scale. HORRIBLE!

I looked up pictures of jock itch and it goes from people’s behinds to the front and is one large rash. I am sexually active and believe I might be mistaking it for herpes. Please dont tell me to go to the doctors because I am scheduling an appointment. I am just looking to see if anyone has had similar experiences

I am scared, worried. Though I'm thinking about doing the STD test, but HIV scared me so much and i have become so miserable. Any Advice or suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

My sleepy problems, although mild have been around since the 1980’s and are now progressive.
I have been taking herbs from a reputable chinese herbal doctor online, but I cannot always count on its effectiveness – not consistent. I keep B5 in the car and have some caffeine pills, but it is not always just overwhelming sleepiness, sometimes it is a clouding of the brain with it.
When I do get lucky and treat the sleepiness effectively with herbs or claritan , then I notice the fog lifting from my head. I want to also say, that in the cooler months and sometimes the summer, I feel a burning in my ears and a tightness in my sinus mask area during this sleepy time. I am only wanting well thought out answers please! I am a physical therapist and I will not accept a cpap or bi pap machine– I know that they are thrown in the closet by the owners after a few weeks…It is true that it is good in theory or on the chalkboard, but it is a deep disappointment in reality ( the real world).I am really looking for solutions as soon as possible I will not take a breathing machine (CPAP) as a treatment…..
